“I’m excited to let you know about my solo exhibition called “Journey of Colours” which demonstrates how my painting style has developed and evolved over time, exploring changes from 1987 to 2023.” Jill
I love the way everyone can see something different in the same painting - often things that I didn't know were there. Works evolving from traditional realism to larger than life contemporary images, and experimental abstracts - inspired by nature, flowers, birds, animals and life experiences.
My work is a celebration of colours and an expression of my gratitude for life.
Artist Jill Harris does most of her painting in her Gippsland sunroom/studio where she can watch her grazing sheep as she paints. She has come from a background of traditional realism to a recent contemporary style, larger than life images & experimental abstracts.

OPENING NIGHT - Tuesday 4th April 6.30pm (for 7pm start - 8pm finish)
The opening night is a free event, everyone welcome, nibbles provided, drinks available for purchase at bar. If you love art why not come along for a lovely night out.
